Will and I got the honor and privileged to go to Brian Word's wedding last weekend in Winston-Salem N.C. It was a beautiful ceremony and so much fun to catching up with old friends. The weekend also served as a "mini anniversary celebration" for Will and I, as we celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary on May 13th. Here are some of the highlight from the trip.

After 2 1/2 months of training I ran my first 5K here in Wake Forest. With the help of my biggest fan (Will) and my race partner (Matt) we finished the race in 40 minutes. I'm not going to lie it was hard work but most definitely worth it! Thanks for all the encouragement as there are hopefully a lot more races in my future!!
We enjoyed the best snow fall Wake Forest has seen in several years!!! Unfortunately, both Will and I had to work; so no snow day for us... :o(
None the less the three of us really enjoyed the wintery wonderland especially Cutter!!
Will and I spent Christmas with the Langley's in Louisiana.We got to spend time with (almost) all the ones we love. It was a lot of fun relaxing spending time with friends and family. We had a lot of laughs and we're sad to leave. Here are a few photo's from our trip!
This year Will and I hosted our first Thanksgiving. The Hightower family came for food, fun, and of course Rock Band 2!! We had so much fun showing them all Wake Forest had to offer. It was a lot of fun and we were sad to see them go. Here are a few pictures from their stay.

She's the best, I love her.I got the pleasure of throwing my two best friends a baby shower for their soon-to-be first born, Owen. It was a quick weekend trip to Indiana (most of which we spent in the car) but it was a fantastic time that I will cherish forever.
