It's A Manly Bash!!

This year Will's birthday theme was "It's a Manly Bash." It included the new John Dillinger film, a Man Feast, a wall of men, man-charades, man-trivia and of course rock band!!

Best Birthday Ever!!

This year my birthday was in two parts...First, was my Office themed office party thrown by some kick butt ladies! Second, on my actual birthday Will gave me clues to several locations all over town all leading up to a surprise party back at my house!! It was so much fun and hands down the best birthday ever!!! My husband rocks!!!

A Celebration of Life...

A family gathered to celebrated the life of Ken Hightower... a dreamer, a father, a husband, and friend. He would have loved to have seen all his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren together again reminiscing of the good times and lessons learned. He was a great man, and will truly be missed. Here are a few pictures from our trip to KY and a few I took to remind us of what a gift life really is.

Florida (Summer) 2009

Will and I went to Florida for a super quick trip to visit family and see my little brother graduate from high school!

Winston-Salem Trip (Brian's Wedding Weekend)

Will and I got the honor and privileged to go to Brian Word's wedding last weekend in Winston-Salem N.C. It was a beautiful ceremony and so much fun to catching up with old friends. The weekend also served as a "mini anniversary celebration" for Will and I, as we celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary on May 13th. Here are some of the highlight from the trip.

5K!!

After 2 1/2 months of training I ran my first 5K here in Wake Forest. With the help of my biggest fan (Will) and my race partner (Matt) we finished the race in 40 minutes. I'm not going to lie it was hard work but most definitely worth it! Thanks for all the encouragement as there are hopefully a lot more races in my future!!
